Why train with Somatic Experiencing Spain?
Endorsed teaching
- Our training meets the international standards of the European Association of Somatic Experiencing (EASE) and Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute (SEI).
- We work closely with AESE to create a community in Spain and, among other benefits, access to continuing education courses at advantageous conditions.
A qualified team
- Our teachers, accredited by SEI, are specially trained both psychologically and somatically and have more than 15 years of teaching experience in the field.
- The best prepared graduates with the best teamwork skills are chosen as Junior Assistants and are carefully trained by more experienced assistants. After fulfilling the requirements of the Spanish SE Association, they become Assistant Providers, i.e. they are qualified to give sessions to students.
Quality teaching
- An eminently practical training with a ratio of 3/5 students per assistant, guaranteeing the quality of the teaching and a personalised pedagogical follow-up.
- Between training modules, an agenda of online and face-to-face study groups guided by experienced assistants is offered. The aim of these groups is to promote the continuous practice of the tool, as well as the resolution of doubts related to the theoretical content.
- Classes are recorded and hosted on a virtual campus that participants can access from the comfort of their own home. The material is available for 4 years so that students can review the theoretical content and demonstrations.
- There is a wide range of face-to-face and online group supervisions with different teachers.
Customized training
- We hold our trainings in different formats in order to accommodate all needs: online, non-residential face-to-face, residential face-to-face and hybrid in the introductory workshops.
- Our training courses welcome cultural and linguistic diversity.
- At our School, students can choose from a wide variety of highly qualified teachers, giving them access to a variety of complementary approaches, methodologies and backgrounds.
